Welcome to Year 2!
We have an exciting and busy term ahead of us in Year 2!
We start reading Troll Swap in Literacy followed by The Owl who is afraid of the Dark. In Numeracy we develop our knowledge of place value.
Please see the Autumn term topic web on the website for details for the rest of our planned learning in all areas of the curriculum.
General information:
Please make sure that your child brings their reading book and record with them every day.
PE will be on a Monday and Wednesday. Please ensure that your child comes dressed in their kit on those days.
Homework will be sent out via an email every Friday and the tasks are to be completed by the following Wednesday. We will have a spelling test every Friday morning.
Your child should have a named coat and water bottle in school each day.
