Homework
Homework in Year 5 will be set on a Wednesday and will be due for completion the following Tuesday. Please see the table below for a summary of weekly tasks:
| Maths |
Mathletics tasks will be set weekly to support our learning in class. Log in details are in the front of your child’s reading record. A further maths written task will be set weekly, usually with an extra challenge where appropriate. |
| English |
Spellings will be sent weekly and will be checked on a Wednesday morning. Daily reading to an adult and reading record to be signed and dated. |
| Foundation Subjects |
Once every half term, an extended piece of homework will be set. This will usually be linked to a history or geography topic area. Two weeks will be given to complete this piece of work. |
